Brobient是一种于2020年6月源自Deep Cuts Discord的风格，最初以将嗡鸣音乐（Drone）/氛围音乐（ Ambient）与Brostep及其他 Bass Music风格融合为特色，无论是通过采样还是有机乐器演奏。随着更多音乐家加入这一领域，风格逐渐从最初的嗡鸣音乐/氛围音乐转向更激进的声音，受到噪音（ Noise）或掠夺采样（Plunderphonics）的影响。它最初只是一个玩笑，但逐渐发展成为一个酷炫的小型集体，由氛围音乐/嗡鸣音乐家们以自己独特的方式诠释这一概念。
