Dub Poetry是一种诗歌（Poetry）形式，诗人通过Dub节奏朗诵作品。在Dub Poetry表演中，上述Dub节奏通常由现场乐队演奏，诗人则配合音乐节奏进行朗诵。Dub Poetry的歌词常涉及种族主义、警察暴力、性颂扬以及拉斯塔法里（Rastafari）宗教主题，通常（但并非总是）采用牙买加俚语创作。
该诗体于1970年代在牙买加由Dub音乐与雷鬼音乐（Reggae）演变而来。“Dub Poetry”一词由Linton Kwesi Johnson首创，后经Oku Onuora进一步推广并开创发展。虽然Oku Onuora和Michael Smith等Dub诗人扎根于牙买加，但Dub诗人并非仅限于牙买加。例如前述的Linton Kwesi Johnson、他的乐队Poet and the Roots以及Benjamin Zephaniah都定居伦敦；Lillian Allen等诗人则立足多伦多——这两个城市历史上都有相当比例的加勒比移民。
1990年代中期，Leslie Winer等音乐家以©为艺名，将这种音乐形式推向更远，甚至融入了神游舞曲（Trip Hop）的元素。
