声音诗歌（Sound Poetry）是一种诗歌（Poetry）形式，其重点在于音韵学和音节的发音，而非词语本身的含义。声音诗歌是一种连接文学与音乐创作的艺术形式，它强调人类语言的语音特征，而非传统的语义和句法价值；它是一种“无字诗”。根据定义，声音诗歌主要用于表演。Kurt Schwitters、Raoul Hausmann是该流派的先驱者。

虽然有时有人认为声音诗歌的根源在于口头诗歌传统，但淡化意义和结构作用的纯声音文本写作却是20世纪的一种现象。本世纪初的未来主义（Futurism）和达达主义先锋派是创造最早声音诗歌形式的先驱。后来，随着磁带录音机的发展，声音诗歌也因20世纪40年代末具象音乐（ Musique concrète）运动的兴起而发展起来。一些声音诗歌也被后来的诗歌运动所运用，例如50年代的“垮掉派诗歌”（Beat Poetry）和80年代的 Spoken Word运动，以及其他一些艺术和音乐运动，它们带来了诸如文本声音艺术等新形式，这些新形式可以用于声音诗歌，而声音诗歌更接近于“传统意义上的小说，甚至是散文，而不是诗歌”。
