下位：Euro Trance、Nightcore、Vocaloid Trance

Vocal Trance是20世纪90年代中期出现的一种Trance形式。该类型常将人声元素融入流行音乐（ Pop），并强调Trance制作中的旋律与和声元素。曲目速度通常以120-145BPM为主，其结构常与Progressive Trance、 Uplifting Trance及Progressive House相似。Vocal Trance的本质与其他类似类型的Trance（包括Euro Trance）有所不同，后者虽常融入人声，但更侧重于 Hard Trance的强劲元素及欧陆舞曲（Eurodance）的直白吸引力。2000年代末期较慢节奏的Progressive House/Festival Progressive House也受到Vocal Trance的影响，同时吸收了Electro House的精致元素。

该类型在千禧年之际于欧洲广泛流行，制作人Sylver、Lasgo、Milk Inc.成为早期重要代表，随后在2000年代中期由Tiësto、Above & Beyond、Armin van Buuren的《A State of Trance》DJ混音进一步推广。自2010年代中期起，公众兴趣因 EDM市场趋势变化而逐渐衰退。
