女仆核（Maidcore）指一种融合多元风格的互联网音乐场景，起源于2010年代中期俄罗斯社交媒体VK平台。当时音乐人开始以日本图像论坛“双叶频道”（又称2chan）上的“Nijiura Maids”角色为灵感创作音乐项目——这些角色由Nijiura版块用户原创设计，核心角色为Yakui、Ozoi和Yabai三位女仆角色。女仆核音乐家的艺名通常以“the Maid”结尾，多数直接沿用现有Nijiura女仆角色名；但也有人选择创造原创的女仆名号。

尽管风格并非完全统一，但女仆核音乐普遍融合后摇滚（Post-Rock）与金属（ Metal）的乐器编排，常与合成器、碎拍、故障音效等电子（Electronic）元素并置。传统女仆核以器乐演奏为主，营造阴郁氛围，呈现暗黑忧郁基调，并多采用低保真制作手法。该流派由Yakui the Maid开创并奠定基础，其融合了阴郁后摇滚与合成器、碎拍元素。随后Ozoi the Maid、Yowai the Maid等音乐家相继涌现，引入受 Witch House与Trap音乐影响的金属元素及打击乐。

2020年代初，随着Chikoi the Maid、Kairi the Maid、Dorei the Maid等新锐音乐家强调更清澈的制作风格，该流派迎来复兴。随着美国的Madoi the Maid与哈萨克斯坦的Yabai the Maid等国际音乐家的加入，女仆核在国际舞台的关注度持续攀升。随着各类社交媒体平台上涌现的在线社群，以及专门发行女仆核实体唱片的厂牌Maidcore Records的创立，女仆核场景持续获得发展动力。
