在风格上，这些乐队采用了更简单的歌曲结构、受到硬核朋克（Hardcore Punk）/地壳朋克（ Crust Punk）的影响、更原始的制作技术，以及他们经常使用Boss HM-2踏板来产生标志性的“电锯”吉他音效。因此，他们的主要影响来自90年代早期的Entombed、Dismember、Incantation、Obituary、Bolt Thrower等乐队也就不足为奇了。
