门控混响（Gated Reverb）是一种制作手法/技术，并非一个流派。门控混响是一种结合了强混响和噪声门的音频处理技术，通常与20世纪80年代的流行音乐（ Pop）/摇滚音乐（Rock）/流行摇滚（80's Pop Rock）有关，并主要在这些场景中被应用。1979年，工程师Hugh Padgham和制作人Steve Lillywhite在伦敦的Townhouse Studios与音乐家XTC、Peter Gabriel、Phil Collins合作时开发了这种技术，Phil Collins于1981年发行的单曲《In the Air Tonight》就是最著名的体现。这种效果通常应用于鼓声录音（或扩声系统中的现场鼓声扩声），使鼓声听起来有力量感、有冲击力，同时还能保持整体混音的干净。除了鼓声，这种效果偶尔也会应用于人声。
