空灵波（Ethereal Wave）是暗波（Darkwave）的一个子流派。该流派由Cocteau Twins、This Mortal Coil和早期的Dead Can Dance首创。这种音乐的特点是大气的吉他音效和女高音，营造出一种空灵、超现实和超凡脱俗的效果，此外还经常使用回声和延迟等音效。空灵波最初是由哥特摇滚（ Gothic Rock）发展而来的，哥特摇滚对这一流派影响深远，不过许多后来的空灵波音乐家受到梦幻流行（Dream Pop）的影响更大。4AD Records和Projekt通常被视为空灵波音乐发展过程中最重要的两个厂牌。
