南瓜合成器（Pumpkin Synth）是地牢合成器（Dungeon Synth）融入万圣节音乐（ Halloween Music）元素的一个玩笑式的流派，最初作为一个meme而存在。这一流派通常在十月的万圣节之夜发布，其特点是以合成器为基础的黑暗氛围（ Dark Ambient）、阴森的极简旋律和低保真的制作；有时会出现恐怖电影采样和恐怖合成器（Horror Synth）的影响。严肃的奇幻、中世纪主题被女巫酿造的啤酒、闹鬼的城堡、无处不在的诡异的雕刻南瓜（这也是作品色调为橙色的原因）等所取代。由于这种无聊的庆祝活动充满趣味性，玩笑式的双关语和诙谐幽默也很常见。
