吸血鬼合成器（Vampyric Synth）是以吸血鬼为主题的地牢合成器（Dungeon Synth）。这一子流派的特点是阴险、缓慢、冷漠，将哥特式传统（如永恒的诅咒、破败的城堡、棺材、血腥饥饿、月夜、邪恶的仪式、厌世的仇恨）和特兰西瓦尼亚民间传说融入其中，并以15-16世纪而非中世纪为主题，它着重描绘的地区风格也从寒冷的斯堪的纳维亚转向喀尔巴阡山森林和整个东欧。黑色氛围（ Black Ambient）中令人不安的人声和新古典主义的键盘声频频出现；鲜红的血液和阴冷的暗色调常常装饰着艺术作品。与吸血鬼合成器相关的标签还有Vampyric Black Metal、Neoclassical Synth、Romantic Dungeon Synth等，此处不收录。哥特地牢合成器（Gothic Dungeon Synth）可以认为是吸血鬼合成器的一个更加突出新古典主义暗波（Neoclassical Darkwave）元素的变体。
