G-Funk R&B
Timeline：最早1993年并开始发展，1996年开始流行至今

G-Funk在90年代的流行，加上嘻哈（Hip Hop）与当代R&B（ Contemporary R&B）的共生关系，最终导致了两者之间的交叉，1993年TLC的《Get It Up》就是最早的例子之一，其中使用了典型的 G-Funk合成器音色。不久之后，这十年间又有一系列著名歌曲问世。值得注意的是，G-Funk几乎完全是西海岸的产物，但这种音乐却在西海岸以外的地区受到了欢迎（在中西部和南部也有相当一部分制作人）。
这股风潮持续时间很短，大约只有十年左右，偶尔会出现一首歌曲。也没有任何制作人与这一子流派有关联，专门推动这一潮流。
